I really can't help you, but I can tell you that Amazon.com's MP3 prices are usually cheaper than iTunes, and they also are DRM restriction-free. I'd also recommend looking into eMusic, which works on a subscription basis. You pay a set monthly rate, and can download as much music as you like. All legal.
