ok, so i am advertising and offering my personal services. i will run your errands. i will do the grocery shopping, pick up the dry cleaning, deliver the package, etc. i'm not offering too many services. just the basics. i've done some asking around and the one thing that people hate the most is grocery shopping. now you can take advantage of all of them or just one of them. my daughter is at school all day and i'm just sitting at home all day. i like being out and about so i figure this could be fun. but how should i charge? what would you pay for these services? gas isn't too much of a problem. i will be offering grocery lists they can fill out for me, i will put the groceries away (extra $), and if something is a last minute request that as well will be extra. i don't want to charge an arm and a leg because i know people can't pay for it so i was thinking for the grocery shopping $8 flat fee hopefully they will tip (it is good karma you know?) what do you think????

  1. THis could be fun.  I want you to consider having a "no tipping" policy. Then you will be charging people exactly what you need to stay in business.  I think it would be a selling point and would make people refer you to others.

Like most businesses, charge a low price in the beginning.  Tell them it is a Special Low Introductory Price.

Find all the elderly people near you.  They desperately need help and many don't have family.  We paid someone $250 a month to check on our 88 year old Aunt.  Just knock and tell us if she didn't answer. /
