What should i concider in an outfit for bringing home my little girl?

Hey guys! I have a scheduled C section for Sept 5. I'm trying to decide what to bring my litle girl home in....she has a ton of outfits! I mean...should it just be a cute onesie? Oooor something more like a newborn dress? I dont know! I dont want to dress her all up for a car ride home...lol Any suggestions?

Just something comfortable. Something weather appropriate.

I didn't dress my daughter up in anything special.

If you are going to get the pictures in the hospital you can take something "dressier" for that if you want.

Something comfy and something warm...she has been used to being inside of you.  A light long sleeved onsie and pants would do...don't forget the socks.

something that will look good in pictures and will be comfortable in the car.  i prefer shirts and dresses with collars to protect a baby's neck from car seat straps.

I'm due anyday now, and I've packed just a cute little pink cotton dress for her to come home in. It's all about comfort! A onesie would be just fine!

I never know why people make such a big deal out of the outfit to come home! You go from the hospital door to the car & from the car to the house. I had my girl on June 23 & put a cute 2 piece sundress outfit that had fruits on it on her to come home.
