ive been dating this guy i met online for about 3 months(hes 15 im 14, yes i know he is NOT a pedophile) and things have been great and now school's started and im kinda curious. this guy gave me his phone number and myspace url. i think he wants to ask me out. hes really cute and i want to go out with him really badly but i dont want to break up with my long distance relationship.im in love with him. but i wanna play the field a bit becasuse hes my first boyfriend and i dont want to only have one boyfriend in my lifetime. i dont want to mess up my feelings for my boyfriend and what we have but i really want to go with this guy becasue i think ill end up regretting it later on.so heres my choices:

-go out with him and not tell my long distance relationship.

-go out with him and tell my long distance relationship

-dont go out with him and everythings the same(but regreting it)

like i said, i just want it to be a fling, maybe lasting a week or two if i did go with him

well if its just a "fling"     dont do it at all,   just hang out as friends... be good friends...  but if you do end up making it a "fling" dont do it behind your boyfriends back, thats pretty bad.

Best way - be honest.

Tell the guy that you have a friend / interest in someone, but you are up for some fun (movie / drink) with no strings attached.

Tell him before you go do anything though - that way if he is more interested than casual friends, he can back off before getting his emotions hurt.

You're really confused, aren't you?

Why would you want a fling for a week or two?  That's not long enough to justify breaking up your previous relationship, or not telling him and having him find out, or telling him and having him break with you.

Doesn't make sense to me!

I'd do some serious thinking before I made ANY kind of decision!

Okay first things first your 14 and trust me there will be plenty of "boyfriends" in your life time. I thought the same thing at your age (i'm almost 20 now so not that old lol) will i have another boyfriend when i had my flings and the answer is yes. Question how do you know that your online boyfriend isn't thinking the exact same thing that you are. Maybe he is also seeing someone else. Long relationships hardly ever work out. Exspecially at a young age. You need to be with someone you get to see, talk to, other then on the internet. If it does just last a week oh well there are plenty of people proably at your school and plenty of fish in the sea you will find that specail guy. Trust me i did i found him when i was a senior and married him and we had been going to school since pre-k. So liek i said your young you have a lot of years, memories, experiance, and other things to learn and look forward to in your life. Good luck with everything and everything will work out for the best in the end.
