i got extremely annoyed by the cast so i took it off. the cast was a short arm cast and it was not a removable one..... But i found a way to take it off.

Im 15 and had only 2 more weeks left. The doc said 3 weeks and its been 1 week took it off. And i have a rod in my arm

What should i do?

Should i tell my mom and dad?

Should i just get like a arm support and like rite aid and wait 2 week?

My family is in a money budget right now so i dont know if i should tell them.

We dont have insureence.

I dont think i need a cast.

  1. be sensible and stop pratting about with it put the cast back on or you are risking life long damage the doctors advise times for a reason not just the fun of it i know they are damned uncomfortable but a few weeks is nothing really there really is nothing to gain risking your health and you will find if you do more damage it will cost your family even more. why not try coloring it in and making a fashion statement out of it

  2. Put it in a sling and hold it close to your body for the next two weeks. Do not mess around with arm, be careful and keep it in the sling. It should be ok but remember it is very fragile so take care.

  3. IF you dont think you need the cast thyen take the ****** off

i mean i would of took it off and told my mom i'm fine

    some doctors are stupid

  4. Well that was far from brilliant.

Do you not think your parents will notice? Do you think your doctor would give you a cast if it wasn't needed?

Well now your family is going to have to pay for a new cast.

You need that cast to set your arm and now you have put your health at risk and have prolonged your healing time.

Go to the ER before you make your arm worse.

  5. The doctors have told you to leave the cast on for this long for a reason,

it's so that your arm can heal properly!

Definitely tell your mom and dad, you need to go back to the hospital other wise your arm will be painful down the track because it didn't heal properly, and chances are it'll cost more.

  6. Tell your parents, apologize to them, and then find a way to pay them back - clean the house, get a job, whatever you can do.  You need your arm to heal right, and your parents, however angry at you, should agree, but you also messed up by ripping it off and need to mend more than your arm at this point.  Be honest and mature about it and show them you know it was stupid, and you should be fine.  Just don't take the new cast off - think about what you'd be doing before you act.
