  1. Get her the polycarbonate lenses, that way they do not break like glass lenses and are scratch resistant. Make sure she keeps them in their case whenever they are not on her face, and get her some little wipes to keep them clean.

  2. My 8 yr old just got glasses himself and I just make sure I tell him what to do with them. He has seen me with them so he more or less knows.. I take them from him when it is time for bed and give them to him in the morning. I also got 2 pairs one for the house and one for school.. At their age you just have to constantly keep reminding them and showing them how to take care of them.

  3. Get her the kind with plastic lenses. If you can, get a second pair just in case she loses the first.

  4. i got glasses when i was six, get a pair that's got a nice pattern on it like dora or spongebob or somethin she likes, so she'll take good care of it because it'll be valuable. and get strong lenses, make sure she doesn't put them in her pocket while playin around (my dad broke his glasses that way) and tell her to bring her case and eyeglass cleaner with her...

  5. I agree with the guy abpve me...my son got glasses when he turned three and he is five now...
