What should i do about dizzy eyes?

every time i stand up i get really dizzy then my eyes black out where i cant see anything for about 45secs. at first i didnt think anything of it but its EVERY time i stand up. is there any meds i can take or anything.

When did yahoo answers turn into the physicians office? Go to the Dr. and get a correct diagnosis. There is a reason this is happening. Find out what it is.

It is called orthostatic hypotension.  Your blood pressure drops when you stand up quickly and you nearly faint.  It is not an eye problem.

See your family doctor to rule out any underlying physical causes and to discuss treatment options.

this happens to me everytime i stand up from lying down i get light headed, my recomendations are drinking water, advil, not getting up so quickly, stretching your body as long as possible while lying down, and possibley getting more sleep.
