Question:

What should i do about running?

ok for all you cross country runners still in high school. or just runners in general. so i run like every other day. and i was going to do xc at the beginning of the summer... so i did for like 2 weeks but then i stopped cuz i hurt my ankell. and now summer is over! and i have not run in forever! if i start running again. thats good. but is it too late to start up with my xc team when state is in october! i dont know what to do! i want to really bad. but i know i am going to be a really bad runner. should i just wait till track in feb?

  1. no of course not. just start eating right and training. start off easy and work your way up. you will be back to normal in a week or two. october is 2 months away so you have time:) the more you wait the harder it will be!


  2. i think that you should totally run xcountry. your team mates will understand. but if you really don't run cross country then for track you will be ven slower.

I don't think that you should give up being on the xc team, u will never get back into the swing of things if you don't start someplace.  Take it easy your body will let you know if you do something it doesn't like.  You should have plenty of time to get up to snuff for state in October, even if you don't win at least you did it.  I doubt that you will be a bad runner.
