there is a user on this site who has been emailing me death threats.

last time i asked for advice i was told to ignore and block him but he posts it on other peoples answers and on his profile:

read the profile on the link above and read the 3 paragraphs and these are the kinds of stuff he says and he wishes death on my family members

my question is should i?

[A] LEAVE YAHOO ANSWERS?

[B] REPORT HIM TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES? (police)

[C] OTHER (please state)

It is Y/A...they are probably doing this to you because they know it is getting to you.  I mean you made a whole question pertaining to the idiot with no life.  There are so many people on here that like to leave stupid comments because they can.  ( I am guilty of that...depending how stupid someone sounds when asking a question)  Just ignore the bully.  When you ignore them, it is no longer fun to them.  Just keep reporting them...they will eventually get deleted and of course come back with another profile.  But them more you p*ss and moan about them the more they are going to bug the c**p out of  you.

Okay first of all, I doubt he'd actually go through with the death threats. If you really feel that uncomfortable, why don't you try contacting a yahoo staff member about it? And if he still continues sending you these threats you should contact the police. And continue blocking him. Does he actually know anything about you? (You're name, where you live, etc.)

Also, how will giving you a star help you?

My suggestion is to to do B. He'll probably go to jail (MAYBE, I'M NOT SAYING HE WILL) or to do anything to keep him away. Even if your friends call you a tattletale. As long you don't have anyone in your family or you dead. I really hope this works! I feel bad for you!

While I do agree with Ivan... I suppose I can see how it could be a bit jarring.

Simple, send death threats right back. And get VIVID. I'm not just saying "I'm going to kill you, man. Not even kidding.", I'm talking blood, bone, gore, the kind of stuff that gets you checked into psychiatric hospitals.

That's honestly not a joke, I can almost guarantee you he'll back off. Not because he's scared, necessarily, but because it kind of turns the whole thing into a joke.

Cant your report content on Yahoo Answers?  I looked at his site, and it's a little short of being PG13, it's vile what he types on there.  However, if you know who he is I'd report him, and even if you don't there are ways to find out who someone is through IP's if he's sending you death threats.  If you feel scared or like he's serious, I'd report it to authorities.
