  1. Just play.  Let your skills speak for themselves.  Hustle every play, in between plays.  Don't goof around with other players, just focus on playing ball.  After you make the team, you can focus on making friends with your teammates.

  2. The only advice I could give you is show up really early. About 15-20 minutes and get yourself warmed up. That will show the coaches you really want to be on this team.

Listen to what the coaches are saying at full times because if you don't you'll miss out on something very important.

  3. just be yourself. Do the things that u do best, don't show the coach what u can't do. Don't worry about scoring, just hustle hard, be smart, and do your part in the team. Even if u get cut, don't down urself, remember even the greatest player in the world got cut. Just work hard at it.

  4. Show up early and stay late. show the coach you love the game and you'll contribute. The biggest thing in highschool is scoring so show him you can. Nothing is set in stone if you show the coach your better or even work harder than the other players you'll get picked up.

  5. Show up really early and be warmed up and stretched out as early as possible.  This will show that you have dedication to the team and dedication to the game.  If possible, try to get to know some of the other people before hand so that you have a better chance of creating chemistry with the m on the court.  It may be difficult to work well with people you have never played with before, but just try your hardest and don't give up.  Show that you have that perseverance to get the job done and do whatever it takes for your team.

Don't psych yourself out. You will be fine. Play your heart out and leave it all out on the court.

    Good luck.

  6. practice all your weaknesses. make sure everything is straight and always hustle coaches love dat

  7. During tryouts dont try to be a showoff. Just try your best and always stay on task!!!!!!! You dont want the coach on your bad side. It is alwaysa good thing to know you coach. If you know hime you might know what he is looking for. For example is he looking for a guy that knows it all or a guy that trys his best and works with his team. Usually it the second one. So during tryouts go out and play basketball like you would when you were anywhere else. if yuoulove playing basketball and are a decent player you have a real high possiblity of making the team. Also work work with the team.
