What should i do for a CHEAPPP sweet 16 birthday party?

I live 10 minutes from the beach and my budget is $500.i was thinking a party with like 150-200 guests. my birthday is in july so it would be sunny. I want it to be at night, but not another pool parrty. any ideas??? pleaseee help! thanks!

First of all being from a beach town, check with the city as far as ordinances for a party on the beach, as well as bon fires...first step.

Since Pirates of the Carribean is such a big hit....a Pirate party would be so much fun. every one could come in pirate garb....bonfire on the beach, you could do a huge treasure hunt...thats a start....for ya..Happy Birthday...

Don't have one!Have a sleepover or something but I would not spend but $50 of that money and go buy you something new with the rest of it.You've got $450 that's alot of money!!!!

150-200 guests is A LOT of people- your money might cover food and drinks but that'd be it. you might want to limit your guest list to have extra money to spend on other things

$500 is alot of money, not what i would call cheap.

Your beach idea is a good one, just buy some firewood and some drinks and some lighting and you will be all set!
