What should i do for my GCSE ART recycling theme?

hi..i am 14 and going into year ten in september. For homework/coursework in GCSE ART we were asked to produce a theme that reflects on recycling.We are allowed to user any media we want....photography, ict, paint, watercolour pencils...etc

i am really stuck! can anyone give me any ideas that wouldnt take up to much time because i am going on holiday to france in 1week and coming back the same day as school starts.

  1. I gave my daughter some old smashed up cameras,(Practica SLRs).She stripped them down and made the old printed circuits into jewelry. A bit of brass wire and some superglue did the trick.Any old bits of radios,or computers would work as well.!!!


  2. Steal a wheely bin - but make sure it's green.


  3. Try doing some mono-prints of the recycling signs and doing some simple drawings, collects some TRASH like sweet wrapers, crisp packets ect....stuff that you like

    I also did the same project for my GCSE art

    A good idea would be using rubbish like newspaper or shredded paper to make things like a bag.........a friend of mine also make a really nice dress out of tesco bag which was really cool!!!!!

  4. Get a branch, widdle it down to 2 pencils then shred one pencil in some way into very small pieces, combine it with whatever else you need to make a piece of paper then write on it with the other pencil
