  1. use warm colors for the walls, its very homy and inviting. put a canopy over the bed so it kinda separates it from the rest of the room, and maybe make a little seating area. personalize it w/ pics on ur walls and stuff.

  2. Maybee you should paint your room red...some people say that its relaxing=]

    Good Luck Chuck!

  3. what helps me create a relaxing environment in my room is

    1) completely cleaned. no clutter on desks or stuff, vacuumed (or sweeped if u have hard wood floors) bed is made. things look tidy

    2) dim lighting.

    3) paint colour on the walls. and no posters of like your favorite actor teared from a magazine. Nice pictures in frames, or possibly awards you have won

  4. then fit it that way, i have a bunch of pillows, candles and i put Christmas lights up in my room. Write down the thing that fit your personality or you, and create that, if you want any major changes ask your parents permission, or save up and do it :)

I suggest painting your room a nice soft color, fuzzy carpet to sit or lay on and again LOTS AND LOTS of pillows lol

    just go crazy :)

  5. I had my room sky blue but that wasnt me

I had a single bed (red)

and some set I'd had since I was about 2.

I've now got a chocolate brown queensize bed with matching furniture,

It's pretty much clutter free and I've painted it really nuetral colours.

beige on 3 walls and an almond colour feature wall done in the suede effect.

I painted my window frame a nice deep magenta and I always leave my window open during the day.

It lets all the air flow through and it just gives it a clean feeling and I havent had a bad nights sleep since I got it.

Also regularly cleaning and dusting makes it feel more relaxing!

I think like quilt covers pillows and mattresses play a huge part.

Also any posters you might have

I swapped my posters for some awesome paintings done on canvas!

    Best move I ever made!

    Good Luck

  6. try moving your furiture around pick a whole day out of the week to clean your room and rearrange it maybe you just need a change of scenery i change my room around like every 3 months and if that still isnt working try to get your room repainted i guarentee that will help and also jus make sure your room is clean it will make you fell better

  7. Try picking up one of those "White Noise Machines"

  8. paint the walls with a flat (no gloss) blue paint. or get a lot of blue things in it. the reason for all the blue is because according to psychologist, the color blue has a calming affect on people. the flat, non glossy paint is because it absorbs light rather than reflect it which tells your brains theres too much light around and not to go to sleep.

  9. welll..my room is a sunset orange. its so relaxing for me anyways.

  10. change colour maybe or do a bit of interior make more feel cosy and comfortable

  11. put your own personal style to it or else its not your room.

  12. Mini fridge, water bed, chinese lanterns, and some Barry White. Now if that isn't relaxing, I don;t know what is.

  13. OKay what is you? Like are you a nature girl? a partying girl, prep. You know???? Im a Forest freak so I painted my room a nice green, and I have the funiture changed to wood instead of plastic. I even got some nice plants.
