  1. always think that you can do it

  2. getting butterflied in ure stomach is a sign that ure ready to take on the ball.

  3. Remember: Butterflies is another word for adrenaline.

  4. use it in your fav and don't put 2 much pressure on yourself by saying, stuff like gotta hit it good or coach will get made if you don't hit this good, b/c as long as you try your coach can't be made at you he just knows that you're a work in progress, which everyone is even the pros have trouble sometimes

  5. Because you are a total puss. You need to be more confident, man. You're probably a puss in everything else, too.

  6. Even professionals still get butterflies before they step up to the plate. It's not a matter of getting rid of them, it's a matter of getting used to them and using that adrenaline to your advantage. Instead of thinking of it as butterflies, just think of it as a rush of adrenaline like you just drank 5 Red Bulls or something.

A lot of athletes have said the day they stop getting that feeling in the pit of their stomach before a game or a big at-bat, will be the day they stop playing.

  7. Hit your stomach and focus on the little things.

Don't say like "hit the ball hit the ball hit the ball" in your head.

Focus on something else like stepping towards the pitcher.

Or bringing your bat right to the ball instead of dragging the head.
