  1. You can put anything in a scrapbook.

    Make themed scrapbooks like:

    Friends

    Bands

    Favorite hang outs

    Birthdays

    Holidays

    Seasons

    Baby

    School

    Wedding

    Hobbies

    Dancing

    Pets or animals

Go crazy and let your imagination run wild.

Scrapbooks are lots of fun to make. I make collages in some of my scrapbooks using digital software to create the special look I want for each book. But the most important thing you need is your imagination.  Take pictures of what ever you want.  If you want it in the book put it in there.

Add comments, dates, tickets or receipts to special events, special sayings, ribbons and so on. Add anything you want.  Make it fun and special to you.

  2. A scrapbook doesn't necessarily have to consist of just pictures that are photographs. Do you have any mail lying around the house, maybe cards someone sent you? Paste, glue or stamp anything that means something to you in a scrapbook.Postage stamps, pieces of fabric, song lyrics. At your local craft/art/dollar store look for stickers that bring something out in you or remind you of something. Hair locks from friends relatives, pets any poems or stories you've written lying around also. The whole point is to use "scraps" from your life this may even mean a bus transfer, to make a book of you. A good idea for photographs is try self-portraits, or go outside & feed the birds then take pics of them. Use some ink and get fingerprints from people close to you. Rubber stamps!! Cutting out samples of peoples handwriting.Use glitter pens & feathers to fancy it up, sparkles & postcards even.Possibilities are endless, magazine clippings, go wild life is everywhere.

  3. I would take a look around the house or your room for things that are memories to you.  Ticket stubs from the movies, take out menus, stickers, receipts, ribbons, etc.  Many scrapbookers journal heavily in their books telling a story as to why something is vital to the book.  I would also take photos of the things that make you most happy.  Family, friends, pets, your car, place of employment are all good places to start.  No one says that your book has to be full of photos though.  Tons of ideas are available online too.

  4. Write down "One Hundred Things You Want To Do Before You Die" . This would be a long term project, do a page each time you acomplish a goal.  If you do not have pictures, journal. Your words, your handwriting.  What memories!

  5. Stuff that makes you you.

If you actually have to think about what to do for a scrapbook it's not worth it, it should be prety obvious.

  6. im guessing your scrapbook isn't digital...well im not sure but if it isnt use these tips:

take pictures of stuff you like, or cut out stuff from a magazine & be creative. make lots of frames around your favorite pictures that would make great memories. and add glitter. a really fun thing would be gluing some stuff you like... like i know some people that put beads, dry pasta, or their favorite chocolate wrapper! i really like that one :)

    good luck

  7. Start by taking pictures of what intrests you. You may want to do a nature/outdoor or pets. I dont know if you have kids but if not do one with you best friends. Once you  have the pictures go to any dept or craft store and start getting papers and emblishments. Pick colors and patterns that you like and start glueing. Have fun

  8. Absolutely! Take pictures of anything that peaks your interest: Your home, your car, your family, your friends, your neighborhood, your job and the folks you work with, etc.

This way your first album can be an "All About Me" scrapbook.

With that said, ask your family, friends, and co-workers for copies of pictures that you can have and put them in your album. Don't forget the ticket stubs, song lyrics, favorite restaurant menu, or whatever else you have to make the album more informative and interesting. Just don't give up if you really want to make a scrapbook.

  9. you might have to wait a little while, but bring your camera everywhere and take pictures of what you feel is important to you!

  10. You should take pictures of whatever you want to put in "your" scrapbook.

    I recommend people.

  11. What do you want your scrapbook to be about? Usually the best ones are themed, like "when i went to Disney with my friend," etc. You will enjoy looking at it more if you don't take pictures of just random stuff, but instead of a time in your life you want to remember. Next time you go somewhere with you friends, or you go on vacation, take tons of pictures! If you want to make a scrapbook *right this second*, then try taking pictures of around your home and of your neighborhood, your friends, etc. But trust me, you will enjoy it more, and people will enjoy looking at it more, if its about something special.

  12. its digital right? so take it with you EVERYWHERE you go.

pictures of you and your friends, your dog, your parents whatever.

the happy pictures are the best. stuff like you jumping off something so your in mid air and stuff like that.

  13. Take pictures of your friends and family.
