What should i do if i get stuck on a bench press with no spotter

i have been stuck before. I just keep rolling it down my body until i can sit up. it hurts like h**l though.

  1. That is the best thing to do, if there are people around screaming for help is an option, what you should never do is try to "throw" the weight and escape under it, that can kill and or injure you and other people...


  2. i usually roll it down to about my mid abs, then i sit up, from there i wiggle my legs out or toss it to the side

  3. If i was you i would just go down about 5-8 pounds.This will help until you can lift with no prblems

  4. Put a pad on the bar (mid section) where you chest is. It will make it less painfull.  

  5. You really shouldn't be putting yourself in those kinds of situations.  But if you do lift without a spotter, you should probably stick to a weight amount that you know you can do.  But if you do find yourself in a bad situation, you should make sure there is someone else closeby who could help you
