  1. listen to her. mothers are always rigth. trust me i kno. espically about belly buttons. i really wanted one but my mom said no. it went on for months then one night i snuck out and got it pierced. a few days later my belly button fell off. i should of listened

  2. Wait until you move out.  Her house, her rules - deal with it.

  3. Try sucking up to her or just come up with a really good argument as to why you could get it.

  4. GOSH JUST LISTEN 2 YOUR MOM AND DONT GET A PEIRCING...GOD ITS NOT LIKE YOUR GONNA DIE IF YOU DONT GET ONE...SORRY I WASSNT TRYING TO BE MEAN BUT JUST LISTEN,,,SHES YOUR MOM THERFORE YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO HER,,,,AS SOON AS YOUR 18 YOU CAN GET ONE AND DO WAT YOU WANT GO 2 CLUBS HAVE s*x GET PREGNANT YOU KNOE [=

  5. Well to be honest your still to young but i had mines done at 17 yrs old im 21 now and dont have it anymore i mean it was cool while it lasted but in the long run the heaking process is good but it still leaves a mark and you must keep up with the cleaning process cause you dont want to get a bad infection. and if you want kids take it out immediately cause it leaves a very nasty mark during pregnancy well thats if your sexually active i kno i was when i was your age.

  6. My daughter (16) wants a piercing.  I told her she could get it when she moves out on her own.  She is cool with it.  Getting your belly button pierced or not is really not an important issue, but she is supporting you now.  Gotta go with her decision.

  7. I hate belly piercings they are turnoffs to me, as are lip or piercings other than on the ear. And I am not the only guy like that, I don't know why anyone would want a belly piercing.

  8. Realize that you're not an adult and therefore you don't get to make the decisions.  If it's that important and you've wanted forever, three more years won't kill you.

I highly suggest you don't get this done or do it yourself.  If you do find some "professional" to do it, chances are it won't be the best job as if you'd waited to get it done.  It's not legal to pierce anyone under 18 without parental consent so if you did find someone to do it, they're not someone that's on the up and up.

My guess is that your mom is  not on board because she thinks you want it for the wrong reasons, such as to be like everyone else.  Whatever you do, the wrong thing to say is "everyone else has one".  It only proves her point.  She's trying to protect you from being one of those S****y looking girls with the low rise pants and a midriff baring shirt with a g-string hanging out.

Wait until your 18. You'll appreciate it more then.

  9. Reason with her. Ask her why she doesn't want you to have it. if her answer is not reasonable than i would go and do it myself. But, if her answer is reasonable-then really think about it-if its a good idea.

  10. When I got mine I told her that I wasn't going to flash it around and be S****y. I just wanted it cause it's an accessory for bathing suit season.

  11. Wait until you're 18. Simple. She can't tell you no then and you won't run into any legal problems when dealing with a piercer.

As for getting it and not telling her, most states have laws that say you must be 16+ with parental consent. A lot of shops will not pierce unless you are over 18. If a piercer agrees to pierce you at 15 or without parental consent until you're 18, I would consider the possibility that this guy/girl is a creep and unprofessional. I wouldn't waste my time sniffing the air in a place like that.

    Just wait. Good luck :)
