What should i do if my rabbit has flaky skin?

my almost 2 week old rabbit has a sort of dandruff on his ear and legs and behind. what to do?!

  1. There is a liquid aloe vera you can buy that is safe for rabbits


  2. I'm not too sure. I've never had anything like that before on any of my rabbits. You can wait a bit to see if the baby grows out of it, or you can call your vet for expert advice.  

  3. either take him to a vet or you can wash him or you can skin him and eat fresh rabbit stew

  4. wash it with pet shampooit works great my rabbit had the same problem but i asked the person at the store what i should use

  5. Have him checked at the vet.  He probably has ear mites and they chew and eat the skin on the ears and it will appear flaky.  You'll need drops.

  6. Rabbits only get "dandruff" when they have fur mites. he needs to see a rabbit savvy vet who can prescribe medication for it.

  7. ask a vet.there are places on line.google rabbit care or pet m.d. sometimes pets that do not get enough water get this.sometimes its something else.since your bunny's skin is flaky only in certain places i would try asking a vet.it could be something requiring vetrinary care.
