  1. If you can, get a sailboat or go on a sailing trip in the South - from Bonifacio.  See Rondinara, the Lavezzi islands, even do the short crossing to Sardinia.  Porto Vecchio is excellent.

Those are all the coastal things in the south (there may be similar in the North of the island, but I haven't been there and the North/South transit takes a long time, so you will likely do one or the other in a week).  Don't miss the mountain areas inland.  As someone else said, the roads can be a little scary, but rent a small car/jeep and go for it - you won't regret it.

Corsican food & wine is excellent, but on the coasts as expensive as any other beautiful international beach destination.  Much less expensive inland.

  2. porto vecchio, bonifacio are certainly the greatest place to visit

the famous GR 20 is a wonderful  way trought the Corsica Mountain but becareful not so easy!!

test the food, the cheese, the songs go in villages mountain!

    enjoy it ,it's wonderful!!

  3. Do you like walking? There are excellent mountains to walk in.

I was on the south coast, in Bonifacio. Great beaches around the little charming town, clear water, perfect in September when most tourists have left. I found it expensive, a little on the" Riviera side" when it came to eating out. Well worth visiting though. I rented a car and drove around, narrow roads sometimes without railing(a little scary if you do not like heights)

    Enjoy your trip!
