What should i do in a drinking and driving situation? If i'm the driver or the passenger?

Dont drink and drive call a friend or a taxi and dont ride with someone that is drinking and driving call a friend or a taxi. it is pretty simple..............

If you are the driver - don't drive or don't drink. Pick one.

If you are the passenger - get out. Get out now.

Find a ride, call a cab, walk. Surely you must know someone who cares enough about you to give you a ride at 1am.

I told my son that if he ever got in a situation where the person he was supposed to ride home with had been drinking to call me. I promised to come get him and not lecture him.

either way you need to get out of the car right a way and find another way home.  If you can't take a cab and none of your friends are willing to stay sober then don't drink. PERIOD. Good luck

Don't drink and drive. Don't ride as a passenger with a driver you know has been drinking.

Call a cab. Get a ride with some one else. Walk. Stay over. Call the cops, if you don't know anything else to do.

But don't risk your life on anyone's ability (including your own), to "hold their liquor."
