What should i do its her big day!?

My cousin getting married she ask me to be a bridesmaid i said yea. She pick out the ugliest dress for me. It an ugly Vitorian inspired Bustier dress she got probably form Chinatown! Should i back out or make her dress work?

It's just one day. Wear the dress, smile and just know that in a few hours you can take it off.

Maybe you could ask her after the ceremony and formal pictures are taken if you can change into a more comfortable outfit for the reception/dancing....

I don't see why you have to back out of a wedding of a family member...just because of a dress she wants you to wear...If she really wants this dress to work for her wedding...and you will be not be happy about it...suck it up and wear it with a smile.  If there's room for negotiation...why not truthfully tell her how you feel about the ugly VICTORIAN dress and maturely figure out what kind of dress you would like to wear and feel comfortable wearing it.  Just don't make her feel stress about it...and telling everyone how you feel but her.  Thats pretty sad of you.

just make it work, really you probably only have to wear it through the ceremony(30-45 min)  and then ask her if you can change afterwards, tell her you just want to be more comfortable to party(if you do)  just remember it's her big day and it's about her, so make some sacrifices and be nice.

You should make her dress work.  Just fix your makeup and hair great and maybe noone will notice the dress.
