What should i do on my 1st menstruation?

Its my first time and all i know is to wash the area really well and wear pads.But last night,I wore 2 pads just to be safe and it kinda spilled a bit at home.Any tips on what do on my 1st time?

Well, at night you should put your pads farther back........

to be extra safe, you can stuff tissue around your pad, in case it leaks.....

for cramps and such.....take hot showers, cause they ease the pain...

and also because it smells, so wear some perfume...

ahh wee pet its your first time!! its OK to have leakages and spills,just learn how to apply the pad right, it may be embarrassing but get your mum or some girlyou know and trust to help you. its hard to get it right the first time and also feels completely weird, your a typicall teen or pre teen if your 11-12, you never stated your age! its only a period, and it will become easier and more naturall to you as time goes by! so just ask adult or big girls in their teens.its ok and you will adapt to your new body functions!! best of luck hunixx
