What should i do ? please help .?

i hv gta 4 games and the lowest resolution is 720p . my problem is i only hv sony tinitron tv which it is classified as crt tv . my console is ps3 . when i want to start the game it wont work because of video setting . when i try to cahnge the resolution my tv goes blank about 30 sec . please tell me what should i do and what tv cable should i use .

Connect with standard red yellow white (composite) cable and then Shut down your PS3 then restart by pressing and holding the power button. This will reset your PS3 to its most basic 480p graphics mode . Happy gaming, shoot a pimp for me.
