What should i do? skipping class?

k well... i have been skipping class alot lately. and i got caught twice. n both times i said i would stop. and the second time my parent came down hard on me (2 months grounded) ... but monday and tuesday (today) i skipped the whole day.. and my mom called me n asked me if i went to class. and i lied and said yes

and now i found out she gonna call my v.p. to see if i went to class... now what do i do?

i was considering telling her the truth.. but thier are abvious reprocussions. such as.. losing tv or computer for a loooooong time. and not being able to hang out with friends

is thier anyway i can come up with some great excuse as to why i missed 2 whole days of school and lied about it?

also.... my v.p. told me that if i keep skipping he would get me an attendance counseler. and i DO NOT want that to happen

my daughter wanted to skip school too.  it was driving me nuts at work.  i told her that i couldnt handle her stress anymore and i threated to do a heck of alot more then what your scared of with your mom.  see i dont care if my retirement is in jail as long as my kid gets a good education and is an upstanding citizen.  she got the point and hasnt missed one day since then.

just face the consequences. You shouldn't have ditched class anyway. Right now you might have fun ditching, but in the future, i think you want to have a good life, so stay in school.

Take your G.E.D. and enroll in college.  The high school diploma means nothing, and college will be more suited to your nature.  A couple of hours of classes a day, and the rest is just studying at home.
