What should i do to become a cheerleader?

ok im going into 8th grade and in high school i want to cheer

ive decided it would help if i didnt start preparing like a week before :)

ok so right i cant touch my toes :( but im stretching twice a day

toe touches high kicks spreading my legs as far as possible and trying to touch my toes and stuff like that.

also i cant really tumble but our school doesnt do any of that stuff so ya

ok what else should i do?

cause i think at some schools body type kinda matters

but i have NO idea so please dont rant about that

  1. nope ur good. cheerleading teams shouldnt discriminate about wat u look like anyways.

    practice yelling some basic cheers loud and clear...

    1) B-E-A-T come on dogs beat the rivals. (clap clap clap)

    2)BAS-KET Bulldog, basket!

    3) M-O-V-E move it (clap clap) Go!

    4) S-C-O-R-E Score, dogs, score!

    5) Roll it, now shake it, victory let's take it. (clap)

    6) One - We are the bulldogs. Two - Just a little bit louder. Three - We still can't hear you. Four more more more one!

    7) The game has started, it's just begun, the bulldogs team is number one!

    theres more, but i dont wanna get u confused. so just practice these and make sure you can yell loud and clear.

    also try working on your toetouches, hurkies (idk how 2 spell), and ur pikes....

    also stretch as much as u can.

    make sure ur arms are strong (for stunting, tumbling, and arm motions)

  2. i was in the same situation once. One thing that helps is do some arm exercises to strengthen your arm muscles. And you can also go running to build up stamina and endurance.

    Make sure you are stretching every part of your body everyday.
