  1. Hamsters usually nibble or bite people's fingers because they smell like food, or they need to bite on a block of wood.  To tame your hamster, take a sunflower seed or snack, and let your hammy take it from your hand.  This will show them that your not dangerous.  Once they've mastered that, let them climb on your hand, stroke them, and talk to them in a "soothing" voice.  Hamsters are very territorial and they don't like anyone else living in their cage.  You will have get another cage and put let's say, Happy in that cage.  Keep the cages close together so they can get used to each other.  If they are brothers, then they should warm up to each other.  Good luck!!

P.S. You can wear gloves the first few times when you hold your hamster, so just in case it does bite you it won't hurt=)

  2. The one doing the biting is aggressive, he has to have his on cage..as for biting you...you just have to keep trying to handle him all the time so he can get use to you. Try wearing work gloves for the first few times. I did with mine & it worked..she doesn't bite me anymore.

  3. Well, it's looking like you need to separate them because robo's are very territorial creatures:  trust me, I have one.  They could kill each other if left like this.

As for the biting, make sure you wash your hands, espically if you just ate or have been around food.  They have very delicate noses.  That, and he still doesn't know you really well, so keep at it and be patient!  It'll probably be a month or two before they put all their trust in you, you just have to keep working with them.

  4. different cages or sell one on ebay
