  1. Basically what you do is send in a head shot, body shot of you. On the back of the photos you print your name, address, maybe your stats.... If they don't respond it means they aren't interested. Many reputable modeling agencys DO have websites. They distribute information such as, open call times, their requirements, ect. I went about it by going to Proscout. A reputable agency was interested in me, and a month later I signed with them. I'v started a portfolio and go on castings several times a month. If you would like more information I encourage you to email me. I hope this helps!

  2. have good pics and a good resume

send them to as many agencys as you can

start of with a local agent and work your way up the line

if a job doesnt pay take it anyway its all about the tear sheets and experience

when going into an agency the first things they look at are eyes, eybrows, face structure, smile/teeth, and personality

  3. The professional modeling agencies do not have websites.  If you want to be a professional model, you have to move to New York City, where the modeling industry in the USA is located.

  4. Whoever said the agencies have no websites, is wrong.

    Top agencies:

Ny models, DNA, IMG, Women, Supreme.

    Trump, NEXT, Ford, MC2, etc.

Follow the list of what to do, plain white wall, bathing suit, etc.

If they like your look, they'll reply. If you're not what they're looking for, they will simply not reply. The best way is to send snap shots via email. Be natural, no makeup. Make sure you find an agency where you feel comfortable and see the look of the other models.

Modeling is not an easy job and you probably won't make much, unless you get a beauty campaign. Runway pays in clothing and maybe a few hundred dollars (and that's high fashion, walking for Versace, Preen, Marni, Chloe, Etc.). Editorials in magazines like vogue DO NOT PAY. You have to travel by yourself sometimes, spend long times backstage, etc. Go to thefashionspot.com and read becoming a model, it's accurate. It is not what it seems I'll tell you that.

  5. send in a picture, cover letter, and resume to agencies.

  6. First of all see that an agency gets noticed by you. The rest is a piece of cake.
