What should i do to get restitutionon my car?

My car was stolen and totaled and the kid that wrecked the car can not pay restituiton. I need all the advice i can get. Ive filed charges, ans spoke to the local authorities. So far ive recieved no help. Is there anywhere else i can get help. The car was my only vehicle.

Where is your insurance company in all this?  Comprehensive coverage pays for the loss, and your insurance company has the right to subrogate against the thief if they believe restitution is possible.

Ok, so this kid STEALS your vehicle, that would be the first red flag that this guy has no money since he is STEALING.

I'm guessing again that since he STEALS he has no money to pay you.
