What should i do to make my computer sound works?

I don't know what's happening, since i installed a new graphics card ati 4850 in my desktop, the sound's gone and only in volume mixer appear realtek HDMI output running, i used to pluged in one cable to listen music from my screen, also i tried to listen from my headphones and nothing happens. what should i do?

maybe its not compatible

Try and install sound drivers that are compatible with your motherboard

Try checking your devicemanager to check for a ? or a ! sign next to it and search up that devices Driver then install.

Not to sure if this will work since you didn't even reformat or delete anything

I cant help you at the moment nor do I really know whats wrong at this point. I'd help but I have to go somewhere sorry
