  1. practice is key and along with practicing never give up start out small free throws, dribbling, then take it up to 3 pointers, tricks, practice without watching the ball while dribbling make up your own exercises bend your knees when you shoot, work on jump shots, lay ups, any of that and eventually put it all together but you need confidence never tell yourself you are bad at the sport, never give up on it if you love to do it and i guarantee with some hard work and effort you can make yourself a better player in the sport

  2. well heres the main thing. PRACTICE! as much as u can.

practice dribbling..choose somethin to look at while u dribble cuz u NEVER wanna look down while ur dribbing.

    run..alot.

do leg work outs..sqauts,bleacher,etc.(it helps with your jumping)

when u play..play right..watch ur moves..dnt just jack around tryin to show off.

when u shoort free throws..bend your knees dont jump!

    practice using your pivot foot..

pretty much wat this all comes down to is to PRACTICE

practice as much as u can for as long as u can however u can.

u can be practicing but shooting paper balls into the trash can..just practice AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

    hope i helped =]

  3. try practicing 3 pointers im not very powerful on the inside but i can hit threes on the out.

  4. get in the gym and do basketball drills work on your shooting and your ability to dribble with your head up so you can see the whole floor

  5. play all the time

  6. . my daily work out is:

    1) stretch for 30 mins

    2)100 sit-ups

    3) 30 push ups

    4) mikan drill

    5) 10 free throws

    6) dribble full court making moves at 3 different areas (hesitation, cross over, behind the back, between the legs... etc.)

    7) 10 three pointers at 7 different spots

    8)10 free throw

    9) sprinting base line to base line, base line to free throw, base line to half court, base line to the other free throw then base line to base line again.

    10) 10 free throw

    11) then lay-up for 20 mins

    12) then i run stairs for 20 mins( run up, WALK DOWN)

    13) 25 MADE free throws

    14) and then i work on fundamentals

    15) defensive slides (don't hop, ur hips should be level the whole time)

    16) shoot around

but if you wanna get quicker  jump roping (as fast as you can), and running stairs ( run up, walk down)

i recently just got back from the girls stanford basketball camp, it was fun!

    hope this helps =)

  7. practice practice practice... goal goal goal... achieve your goal to become a better baller...

  8. work on hops, handles, and your shot, plus quickness

  9. Practice. I practiced for 30-45 minutes, doing only jump shots and free throws, 5 times a week for a while last year. I was a way better player within 2 months.

Also if you know 5-10 other people who you can get to play with you, play knockout. It is a lot of fun and really helps with shooting. I've listed a link about the game in my sources.

  10. drills and mostly freethrows

  11. U should sit on the wall for 5 mins. no stopping at a 90 degree angle.

  12. Practice, practice, practice.Bend your knees during free throws.Hustle after bricks. You have to have a killer mindset.

  13. Stop spending time asking questions on the computer, and spend time outside working on your weaknesses.

  14. well

u could make your midrange game better by playing

    plus 1 minus 2

every shot u make from 1 of the 2 elbows gives u 1 point

    every miss takes away 2

time urself to meet a certain number
