What should i do to prepare for high school football

im signing up for my high schools football program and ive never played league all ive done is mess around in my yard and at school playin tackle what types of drills should i do ill probably be offense line ,def line , or running back

  1. Be prepared to puke. Every coach I've ever known in high school will work you until you puke. It is their way of showing you they are in charge and weeding out the dudes who shouldn't be there.

    Run, run, run........and then run some more.


  2. if want to be a lineman you should do your 10 and 40 yard sprints.  dont know about running back because im a DT for my team.  good luck

  3. football season is right around the corner so forget about the weightroom since there is no time. Run alot of sprints and i meen alot. Like spend at least 2 hours atthe trck per day. If you go into two a days out of shape you will puke and dehydrate very easily
