What should i do to prepare for my future?

i've been thinking lately about my future (i'm going to be a junior when school starts in a few days) and i think i want to be a news reporter like on the local news or even like good america or something big like that. but i don't know how to start preparing for that or even what school i want to go to yet. i don't know what clubs to join either. most of my time is taken up by cheerleading though so i don't even know if i'd have time for clubs. any ideas?

I'm going to be a junior also. I cant really say what you should do besides go into that field when you go to college. Other than that other things you can do is probalby on your extra time like hosting the college radio station or something like that.
