you could do something awesome to your hair that you wouldn't normally do or wear clothes that you wouldn't normally wear! ya i can't really do anything cool on the first day of school because i have tennis practice right after school so that stinks

Strap dynamite to your body under your jacket and then yell "Anarchy!" and tear off your jacket during "Show and tell."  Should get a laugh!

You mean something to surprise them WITH, as in a gift? Or something to surprise as in shock them, like a new hair color? If it's the first, maybe you could bring in some homemade treats for the class (if homemade is allowed at your school), or maybe some candy. Food always seems to go over well :)
