What should i do? torn thumb ligament?

i bent my thumb back yesterday at school and after school i had to go to my physio therapist (what luck) she looked at my thumb after she noticed it was hurt and said i have skiers tumb???

and might have a fracture aswell

i want to know if anyone else has had this problem and what should i do. at the moment i can move it but it hurts

Tape it up with electrical tape and leave it alone for a week
