What should i do when my kitten is using her teeth a lot and is fighting with the other animals in the home?

I just got the kitten and she has basically been fighting and hissing at the other animals in the house. She is maybe a little under 2 months and has not went into heat yet.

Your cats have to learn bounderies and limits between each other.  There is no need to seperate them especially if your older cats aren't being agressive to the kitten.  The kitten is either scared or more of a dominant type of cat.  Let them hiss and work out there differences.  It took my cats about 2 months to actually be completely used to each other and know they r the best of friends.  It just takes time.  If you leave during the day and noone is home then u can put your kitten in the bathroom  just for the kittens protection since u can't see what going on.  I hope this helps!

shes being a normal kitten, u can try giving her a chew toy and seperate her from time to time when she starts to act up.

you should separate her from the others for a few weeks. then let them meet supervised.

a kitten is born with an instinct to trust mom, hiss at everything else.

as they meet safe things, mom teaches them not to hiss at it.

if they dont know what it is,and if mom didnt say it was ok, hiss at it.

as they get older, they learn teeth and claws are more effective.

she just needs time to adjust, plus, she misses mom and siblings.. all this is very new to her.

She is just being a normal kitten.   It takes time for babies to learn manners.   Eventually a pecking order will be established and she will learn her place.   She is also probably a bit frightened.  Don't worry.   All of the animals will figure it out between themselves.   Just make sure she (and they) stay safe.  I had a minpin that used to love to drag our kitten around by the neck and she got scabs, so I had to watch carefully and teach my minpin.

Two months old kitten is almost the same age as a 1 year old baby in our world.

Kittens are something like small kids ... they like to play with other animals ... don't think they are fighting.

Don't think they know they are so small itself, they are rather funny ... they like to fight with other bigger animals or hissing at them too.

If you are afraid that your kitten maybe hurt, you can try to stop it sometimes.

She is probably a bit frightened of the other animals. Maybe you should play with her and keep her mind on other things.
