  1. My dog absolutely loves anything Beanie.

Sucks when she gets to the plastic beads though.

She usually takes off the face (nose, ears, eyes) first, then chews on the rest.

She goes nuts when she hears the Beanie sound though.

Please tell me that 500 is an exaggeration?! Otherwise, you deserve to be surrounded by them!

  2. keep em they will come valuble

  3. Keep them for about 10 years then sell them

  4. SELL THE ON EBAY. IN MY OPINION THIS WILL GET YOU SOME CASH TO USE

  5. probably "A".  I'm in the same boat.  When I think of all the beanie babies I bought for my "daughters future", they are now taking up two dishpacks worth of space in my attic.

What a waste!  I can only hope that everyone else trashes theirs and by the time my daughter is middle age, maybe they'll be worth something.  Heck, I have three furbies unopened in their original box, same story.

If there is any bright light at the end of the tunnel, those cabbage patch kids in their original box, never opened, etc are worth big bux!!

  6. Put those large firecracker fire work things.. M80s or something inside them and fling them with little man made catapults.. HEHE!! Or sell them on ebay (not that hard my 57 year old tech stupid dad could do it) if they are in good condition with tags. =D OH or find a dog shelter and give them to them as presents!!

  7. eat them

    or choice d

  8. Hi oooluhluhluhluh (nice nickname!),

Before you do anything with that large of a collection, you need to determine which ones are worthless (a buck or two) and which are worth more (up to $250 or so for the most sought after versions).

The easiest way is to use ebay to get the value.

    1. Log in

    2. Do a search for the item.

    3. Click the 'Completed Items' checkbox (this is why you needed to log in)

    4. Click the 'Show Items' button.

Now you will see completed auctions. If the dollar amount is in red, then the item did not sell.

You will see that most beanies go for under $5, but check all of yours, because several do go for much more money.

This method of determining value is SO much more accurate than any online price lists.

It is up to you to decide if you want to sell now or later.

    Good luck!

  9. I would wait a little while because everyday beanie babies are gaining more value as some become new and other retire. After a few years and your tired of seeing them I would sell them on eBay!

  10. I'd put them on e-bay or box them up and store for a few years.

  11. A they will make more money then they ever will on ebay that way

  12. i would try to sell them in a yard sale and get what you can get for them...the beanie baby craze isnt there anymore...i don't believe they will be worth anything in years to come.

  13. Probably ebay would be your best bet. I use to collect those when they were supposedly going to be worth hundreds in the future. What a scam that was. Anyway, if you don't think eBay is good you can try selling them as a lot to someone local on http://www.craigslist.org which would sort of be like the yard sale approach. List the price or ask for an offer, good luck getting rid of all your stuffed rodents!

  14. hello! i think that you should really think about this yourself but i will tell you what i think. First of all your beanie babies must still have their tags or they are not worth any money. Im sorry. I have a lot of them too but when i was little i hated the tags so i took them off and no one will buy them like that. So, all of your choices are good. If they still have their tags you can save them and pass them down or if you really want to get rid of them now you can sell them on ebay but that is the place i think people wont buy them because there are already so many people selling them on there. And finally if they dont have their tags you can sell them in a yard sell and beleive from what ive seen little kids love to buy them. I hope youve found your answer

  15. d)keep them for a long time and pass them onto your kids
