  1. You've got two ingredients for delicious (and healthy) sang choi bow. Stir fry chopped garlic in a little sesame oil, then add the pork mince and cook through. Add diced celery, mushrooms, water chestnuts and the thinly-sliced bamboo shoots and cook for a further few minutes, then season to taste with a little oyster sauce and fish sauce. You can also add fried noodles that have been chopped up, but right at the end so they retain their lovely crunch. Serve a spoonful in iceberg lettuce leaves.

You could also make meatballs, such as these easy Greek meatballs flavoured with fresh mint: http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/513250 or these fragrant meatballs from Simon Rimmer: http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/529425...

  2. Thai Pork Burritos

    1 pound Ground Pork

2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, grated

1 clove garlic, peeled and crushed

    1 small onion, thinly sliced

    2 cups coleslaw mix

    1 teaspoon sesame oil

    3 tablespoons soy sauce

    2 tablespoons lime juice

    1 tablespoon honey

    2 teaspoons coriander, ground

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed

4 large flour tortillas, 10 in., warmed

    Cooking Instructions

    1. Wash hands. Heat a large nonstick skillet over high. Add pork, breaking up into small crumbles. Cook and stir until pork is no longer pink, about 3 to 4 minutes.

    2. Add ginger, garlic, onion and cole slaw mix. Stir-fry with pork 2 minutes or until vegetables are wilted.

    3. Combine all remaining ingredients except tortillas in small bowl and add to skillet. Stir constantly to blend well, about 1 minute

  3. meat balls!

whizz half an onion, 2 garlic cloves, one chili pepper and a handful of fresh parsley (or any herb really) in a food processor for about 30 - 40 seconds.

add the pork mince and a couple of handfuls of breadcrumbs (not too  much, just enough to make it a good consistency)

roll mix into golf ball sized balls.

    fry off to brown.

put in a shallow roasting dish and cover in spaghetti sauce.

bake for 40 minutes and serve with pasta.
