What should i do with my room? what color? where should i put my furniture? etc...?

i wanted to paint my room, and i have soo many choices! so do you think i should paint one side of my room pink and one side blue? i want like warm colors and cool colors to make it look nice. but i have other choices like doing a beach theme? or tropical? if not my room can be all cool colors? but i have a really small room! i have 4 walls, and one of the small wall has a window. and i was thinking of where i should put my bed too! so can you help me out here?? and if i decide to do all cool colors what matches with sky blue?? how about sky bue , dark brown , light brown , black , and white? do they all match? helpppp idk wut to do with my room.... and i wanna try to do those colors it is because i have lots of furniture that are those colors!! soo helpp!! i was thinking of going to ikea to buy some furniture if i need? is there any other stores i can buy furniture in???

  1. Narrow your focus. You're getting too overwhelmed with the big picture. Start with one thing that you like - whether it's a color or a bedspread or whatever - and then build on that.

    play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

    Or consider a wallpaper. That's one of the simplest ways to bring in all of the colors that you like. Here are some cool wallpapers in colors that you mentioned:

    As for the placement of your bed, it should be the focal point. So put it diagonally opposite your bedroom door. That way it's the first thing that you see when you walk in & it makes the room seem more spacious.
