Daiki walked into the room with a grim look, slouching and dragging himself along the hallway. He was bloody very bloody, bloody and gruesome. Tears fell down from his face, trickling on the floor like rain does on those cloudy days, It mixed in with the scars across his face making a devilish clear red. Through all this he didn’t look up to acknowledge anyone, he didn’t even notice me standing there tearing for him. He dragged his broken staff across the floor with the blade dangling and scraping the floor, making an eerie sound like metal grinding on metal, he used the staff as leverage for when he fell. He lazily brought his head up finagling, looking at the crowd that quickly accumulated behind him. He skimmed through the crowd with eyes staring at every face; this only made him cry more. His eyes finally met with mine, his hair started to stand on end and all his tears seemed to vanish, all that was left was fear…

The moon was a light blue, matching with the dark blue night sky behind it, coexisting with the stars. Me and Daiki, fling from tree to tree, almost as if we were animals scurrying through them, showing denial of our current victory I looked down loosing interest in the path I’m headed, though not being the smartest thing I ever done, I miss a branch and fell into a bush
