i worked in shoes and jewelry at wal-mart and a friend had his wife at a pizza hut........i'd say pizza hut pays better, and probably a better life there than wal-mart

I would say pizza hut. Walmart will not hire you full time. You would have to have open availability. So, that means you are going to get the crappy shifts. You won't get paid that much. At pizza hut, you will get some decent shifts and make more money. Walmart sucks. I worked there for over 2  years.

wal mart has long training and orientation. I worked in furniture and toys. the only thing that bothered me was being on my feet alot on wal marts hard floors. Zoning and zoning checks are annoying and also getting returns from customer service and putting them back on the shelf is a hassle. Don't work in lawn and gardening bc stocking and getting things for customers can be dangerous. If i had to do it again, I would be a cashier, pet department, or photo lab.

I know nothing about pizza hut except it sometimes smells weird when i walk in there

At Wal-Mart, you get too many people complaining and white trash and you would get pay that sucks and there would be less of a connection with your supervisor.

I've worked in Food Service.  It's alright.
