  1. A banana and toast for breakfest.

  2. i run ALOT

    5km every day

depending on how earley you are planning to go

i would say eat 40-45 min before you run cause if you run after just eating your tummy will get upset. and by this time your body will have prosessed most of the food to give you that extra boost !

    i hope i help !!

(for a good breakfest try vector ceral or oatmeal, it really works for me)

  3. I would say eat a hour before. You might want to just have some toast and a smoothie with lots of veggies in it.

  4. a banana

  5. no! try no to have any dairy products, they cause fleghm to build up in your throught and it will be hard to breath. the night before you should eat pasta (no marinara sauce) and in the morning have something light like bagels and fruit. make sure to be drinking lots of water before hand.

  6. A banana and pasta would be very good about an hour before you start.

  7. eat los of things with carbs in them like pasta which have alot energy in them. try to stick to drinking water to keep ur fluids up and try not 2 eat or dink 2hrs b4 the race, u can maybe drink if ur desperate but only sip other wise ull have a full belly when u run, and like 10-25 mins b4 the race have a few sugary lollies so ull get the sugar as energy when ur racing

  8. OMG running is so fun. Never eat 1 hour or less before the run. you will cramps. If you are starving an hour or less then try a few carrots and water, but not a lot of water. stretch a lot. Have pasta the night before.

  9. My favorite thing to eat before a run is a piece of wheat toast with peanut butter on it. The peanut butter will give you long lasting energy. I would eat about no more than 30 min before the race. Good luck!

  10. You should eat 1-2 hours before you run, the same as you always have eaten. How you react to food before a race is pretty individual, so you should eat pretty much the same way as you have during training. If you haven't been eating a lot or watching the way you eat this time, make sure you make that part of your training for the next time. At any rate, eat something light like a banana, a piece of toast maybe with some peanut butter on it, or some yogurt. (Bananas have never given me issues and I was in the Army, so I've done some running.) I never drank milk before I ran as it made me vomit. So if you don't know what a food might do to you when you run, don't eat it. Don't forget to drink water, but not more than you normally drink.

If you want to change the way you eat, do it when you are training, not the day of the race - otherwise you may get an unpleasant surprise.

  11. something that has milk in it, like cereal or a pancake, 2 hours before you run

  12. my suggestion is absolutely nothing dairy for at lest 3 hours before

  13. I would eat something very light like toast.  Try to eat about 2 hours before the race that way you don't get sick from the food.  Seriously be careful about some of these suggestions.  Some of them will either give you a cramp or make you sick for the race.  Whatever you do don't have pasta or a banana an hour before.  That is the worst possible suggestion for a race!

  14. eat healthy

  15. You should eat bananas and peanut butter on whole what bread, along with a smoothie.
