What should i eat before my soccer game?

i have a soccer game at 7:15 at night tommorrow. what should i eat tonight? and what should i eat before the game tommorrow?? as well as what should i drink in order to stay hydrated and play my best??

  1. Our coach told us to eat honey, but that was within 10mins of going on the field. Usually water's best to drink, may-be some Gatorade later in the game.


  2. Actually no, water is proven to be better than Gatorade, it just has a bland taste that gets old over time.

    You need get lots of carbohydrates so eat a big pasta dinner the night before. That is the best thing you can eat.  

  3. Gatorade is better than water, it replenishes electrolytes or something that you lose through sweating - i cant remember the exact details but look it up. Waters good of course, but there are other things you lose by sweating as well as water.

    Try and eat something starchy the night before, a good spaghetti dinner, and the next day go light before the game and eat something sweet for a bit of extra energy - the pros seem to like jaffa cakes. tbh i usually play morning kickoffs so i just go with a sugary cereal.

  4. CARBOHYDRATES. CARBOHYDRATES.CARBOHYDRATES.

    THEY ARE AMAZING FOR YOU AND GIVE YOU TONS AND TONS OF ENERGY. PASTA IS WHAT I WOULD EAT BUT ANYTHING WITH CARBS. YOU SHOULD DRINK WATER .

Any foods made from whole wheat grain and pasta as good sources of carbohydrate for energy, skinless turkey breast with flaxseed oil as good sources of protein and omega-3 fatty acid to enhance performance. Before the game, you should eat foods with good source of potassium such as orange juice, potatoe, banana, avocado, tomatoe, soybean, or apricot to prevent from muscles cramp during the game. I also suggest you to drink a lot of oxygen water before and during the game to maintain your endurance.

  6. i would always eat a banana and healthy fruits and lots of water. Gatorade and Powerade i myself tend to stay away from too much sugar! water is the best thing to drink!!

  7. i usually eat strawberries it makes me hyper and energized before my games!!! or eat a light dinner like some spaghetti w/ light sauce! and i usually drink lemonade or water! BUT NOT 2 MUCH!!!!

  8. well you should eat healthier(fruits...etc) get plenty of sleep and drink water not a sports drink
