What should i eat? ?

my dentist told me to eat softer non-chewy foods for a while, in hopes that it may help my TMJ. i'm clueless as to what to eat. i know there are things like jello and pudding but what can i eat that will still be healthy, like not eating all junk food?

  1. Yogurt, baked potatoes, stir-fries with rice, pasta dishes, soft grilled cheese sandwiches, mac & cheese, ramens, soups...


  2. yogurt, potatoes, smoothies, soup, noodles, some fruit, some vegetables (peas, green beans), etc.

  3. I had a toothache once so instead of eating pudding, I ate whole wheat spaghetti. Because its whole wheat, its healthier and the noodles make it easier to chew. Potatoes also (if cooked long enough) are easy to eat. If you want to be healthy you can eat the potato skin.

    Also if you have a blender, look for a tortilla soup recipe online. It combines a bunch of vegetables and its still really delicious.

  4. Ooooh.  I had that. I drank a lot of yogurt smoothies:  1/2  to 1 cup vanilla yogurt, frozen berries or fruit, honey, and protein powder in the blender.  I also ate peanut butter, drank ensure, and had oatmeal. Also, I love braunshweiger.  It's just going to be tough.  I found a good masseuse was my saving grace.

  5. Go for TOFU.  It has lots of protein, no fat, and it is soft.

  10. Soups are a good option, as is applesauce and some breads.  Ask your dentist for more options
