  1. Just go and enjoy the day.  Don't wear overly good clothes and make sure you wear closed toe shoes.

It can be noisy and dirty.

Take a camera to get some shots of your boyfriend and don't be intimidated by bikes going past you when in the pits.

Get a program so you know just what is going on as otherwise unless you know the riders and the bikes they all look the same.

Expect to see the ambulance at least a couple of times in the day and ask your boyfriend what the flags mean so you know what is going on.

Best of all remember your boyfriend enjoys this so try and enjoy it too as it is fun.

Take a fold up chair with you as well as lots of places you need your own.

  2. I would expected that you have fun, enjoy the racing, someone will crash, expect jumps, major jumps, a dirty bike, and a dirty man, but you can clean him all up when you get home. : D

  3. Bring earplugs if you're going to be anywhere near the edge of the track.

Expect to be excited, and maybe a little scared for him.

  4. Man, you are in for a treat. Washougal is an awesome track. You know I have been through several girl friends during my racing career and some really love it and others just get too nervous to even watch me race. Just be as supportive as possible and don't be surprised if he is not quite "himself" prior to hitting the line. We tend to get a little wound up just before the race so just be cool and try to enjoy. Oh yeah, listen to Auburn she can probably give you better advice than anyone here.

  5. I expect quite a bit of this

  6. Go to it they are great but it is going to be loud so something to cover your ears will help.
