  1. Danger! Please stay away from the ouiji!

  2. I'm with Deenie, can't say it any better than she did.

  3. I get so tired of trying to warn people about the Ouija board...it's very dangerous..But if you don't believe me...experience is the best teacher. Maybe it won't work for you...if you're lucky.

  4. Neither a black mirror or a ouija board will allow you to talk to a spirit in any positive or fun way, if at all. Why not pray and get in touch with the holy spirit. It could be a lot more exciting and fulfilling than conjuring up some demons that will rape and beat you. You could even start a bible study group with your friends.

  5. I'm sure people's answers will be different based on their beliefs.

But according to mine, you can contact a spirit through a ouiji board. I'm not sure what a black mirror is, but I guarantee that either way, the only spirit you're going to contact is a bad spirit. There are only good and bad ones, and none in between. Spirits aren't stupid, so they obviously can lie or trick you into believing they're something else, so I recommend that you don't do that. The only way to contact a good spirit is through prayer.

  6. well, either way is dangerous.. at best you're inviting spirits to follow you around. at worst, they'll take that invitation.  the safest way is through a black mirror but there's an entire system of mathematic arrangements you have to use. i can get it for you if you really want to do this but i warn you STRONGLY against it... believe me- i've had experiences with demons... not pleasant...

  7. By black mirror I am taking you to mean a black optical depth (a pool of water, a pool of oil, a regular mirror) all of which will reflect only black (via a cloth or towel). This does require some light. I would highly suggest reading the book "Reunions" by Raymond Moody, M.D. before attempting this so you will have some understanding of the effect.

I found in my replications that when people had experiences they were very calm after the experience but when they talked about (and then realized in an  normal state of consciousness what they experienced) they became more and more excited. I created the rule of about 30 minutes of normal conversation and relaxation before allowing people to drive anywhere. This technique is very good at helping people move through grief and has a very high (50% in most cases) chances of people having an exerience.

However, if you do not do the prep work and have no one in mind but just go in with "I want to see a spirit" then you will probably get nothing. All my control runs resulted in no experiences.

This of course has some normal psychological explanations but many people (including Dr. Moody who gives different answers on different days is undecided after his actual experience). Most people he selected that had experiences (he gathered many well educated people with very little religious or paranormal beliefs) believed they were in actual contact with deceased relatives.

The Ouija board does have a normal explanation for movement (ideomotor effect) when a finger is upon it. It also does not have the success rate of a psychomanteum.

However, if you choose this path you should try for information that you can confirm and consider using a video camera to tape your sessions. A moving planchette without being touched would be unusual. Of course many would not believe the footage but it would still be evidence. Use a tape or one time use CD (not a digital video) so you can eliminate claims of altering the footage.

  8. If you use an Ouiji board, you can expect to either get nothing out of it, or to utilize the ideomotor effect - basically, you're moving the planchette yourself, but you've fooled yourself into thinking you aren't.  This is quite easy to test, and has been demonstrated over and over again.

A black mirror?  Try not to break it.  Then you'll have a lot of glass to clean up.  But there's nothing else to worry about, since no one has ever been able to show that they weren't just talking to themselves.  And if you can't get anything new from spirits, what's the point?

  9. God forbids occult practices in the Bible (Deuteronomy).  Pray to God in Jesus name and forget the rest!

  10. Prayer works best and is spiritually 'safe'. Don't expect two-way conversation, but good messages will be received.

  11. i wouldnt use a ouija board for anything, you'll end up with everything but your spirit guide! i dont know what black mirrors are but i have to say just talk to your spirit guide, and tell him/her that you want to make contact and try prayer.most people cant contact their guide so it must not be that easy or they may not want you to contact them, you never know but i do know nothing good comes out of a d**n ouija board

  12. I encourage you to assume nothing when it comes to matters like this.  For example, you appear to be assuming spirits exist and that they are able to communicate with the living.  I think if you look at the matter long enough you will see beyond cultural lore there really isn't anything that indicates spirits are indeed real.  If they are I have yet to see any conclusive evidence to suggest any living human has in any way communicated with them.  On the contrary, I *have* seen many people (i.e. John Edward, Sylvia Browne, etc.) using fraud to convince people otherwise.

The Ouija board can be fun and it can seem like you're communicating with the dead, but there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for what causes this.  It's called the ideomotor effect.  Here's some more information on that subject:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor

But don't take my word for it.  Investigate this for yourself.  Keep your mind open to the most rational and reasonable explanation.  Whatever you do, please take some of the other advice with a grain of salt.  There are many superstitious people out there who don't understand the world around them and attribute the cause of many events to magical causes.

  13. if you get this spirit contacted and it's pissed cause you just pull it away from something more interesting, what then. as a reasonably intelligent person do you really believe all that mumbo, jumbo c**p. if so i have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale and you need to buy it. oh by the i know there is a ester bunny, and Santa..............great pumpkin and,and ,and puff the magic dragon

  14. First, the ouiji board: dont use it.  Too put it shortly, I was addicted, fooled over and over again just so they could watch my morals disintegrate, and it messed up my thought process.  Not to mention the accounts of actual physical abuse from it...

If you use a black mirror, it would be best to bless it in any way you deem proper, or charm it to attract the spirits you want.  Moonshine, annointment with corresponding oils, or inscribing its purpose on it are examples of blessing, just make sure the intent is clear in mind.

Please make sure to shield yourself!  If you don't know how to do that, you shouldn't be contacting spirits.  It is extremely important, or else they can severely mess up your personal energy and gain access to your mind.
