  1. also you need to feed your plec some algae wafers, feed them at night when you turn out the light just drop a couple in the tank they sink

  2. i have one gold fish in a bowl (dont complain about the bowl)

and i feed it tetrafin flakes and i think its perfect its easy for the fish to eat and unlike pellets it dosnt cause bladder problems..

    and ur fish look healthy...

  3. I have 1 fantail, 2 ryukins and 1 oranda.

Pre-soaked Tetra Goldfish Flake Food in the morning and night  for the big tank. They are buttheads and won't surface for the pellets -.-

Pre-soaked Hikari Gold Baby Gold Baby Pellets (comes in a pink package) in the morning to the small tank. Then pre-soaked flakies in the evening.

Frozen bloodworms 1-2 times a week as a treat in both tanks.

Pre-soaking food is good for fancies because of their compacted bodies and swimbladder problems. Best of luck : )

  4. your gold fish are so cute = )

feed them stuff that doesnt float its bad for ther swim bladder

i feed my gold blood worms

    Tetra ColorFin Goldfish Food

Goldfish Deluxe Food Ocean Nutrition: SINKING PELLETS

just make sure it says SINKING PELLETS k good luck

  5. These are fancy goldfish...very cute fish...I think the white/pink one is a fantail..but the orange one is I guess a ryukin...you can find out the type here http://www.kokosgoldfish.com/ftypes.html

In fact this is a very informative site...

25 gallon is good for them..but I would really suggest you not keeping the pleco..25 gallons is less for all of them together..pleco grow to be 12 inches and longer..I have seen massive plecos at a local pet store...really huge and trust they dont belong to 25 gallon tank with goldfish..one more thing is that plecos are tropical and need warmer water...keeping them with coldwater goldfish will shorten his life..he will survive but not thrive well..I would really suggest not keeping him...varying the goldfish diet is important to provide them with nutrients and growth..

feed them boiled vegetables like spinach and lettuce (I usually clip these to the tank and they keep nibbling at it)..boiled cucumber, zucchini, carrots, broccoli..remove seeds if any...and boiled shelled peas...fruits like strawberries, banana, orange, lime etc...treat them with frozen or frozen dried bloodworms and brine shrimp...I would suggest feeding them twice a day only..sometimes skip meals..keeps them healthy..

If you keep the pleco..then yes he needs a good diet too..never had one...but I know for sure algae wafers is something they love...research more..

Fish will grow at their pace..could take 2 years could take more...depends on a lot of things...water quality, space, food, genetics...lots of factors...so just enjoy while they swim and grow..dont worry abt tht...

  6. nice fantails you got feed them with variety of flakes and bloodworms and dried shrimp they love bloodworms.  Once is enough with a maximum of 3 times.    Growth will be slow indoors but will grow.
