  1. Yes, they love algae and also some aquatic plants.

  2. get algae wafers

  3. I suggest you get these algae tablets. They act as algae, and enough for about two days. I also suggest you get some other fish for company and so you have some pretty fish in the tank.

  4. Go to the pet store and get algea. set it in the tank and they will be fine. :]

  5. First - find out what your 'sucker fish' actually is.

There are dozens of species that have that name, and they have different requirements.

But assuming you have a Common pleco

You should feed it a mix of sinking algae based tablets, fresh veges(zuchini, mushroom, cucumber etc) and the occasional meaty treat. Mine get some shrimp type sinking pellets and sometime a piece of actual shrimp.

They will eat algae off the surfaces in the tank, but thats not enough to support them as they get large.

Be aware they can grow to over a foot long, and live for 15 or more years. Hope you have a big tank.

  6. Dont listen to el. Go down to the local pet store though and grab some food for them down there. Dont grab algae because it builds up as they grow older and eventually die. Just ask the people at the counter of the pet store. Goodluck

  7. blanch some lettuce leaves and let them eat away also you can try zuchini mine loves that, or you can go but hikari algae pellets there designed to only be eaten for plecos or algae eaters
