I am 13 years old, 5'6 and 115 lbs. I know how to handle a dirtbike well enough for these bikes. I want something with get up and go power, but reliable.

  1. Well that's a pretty easy choice since these two bikes are for totally different purposes. I owned a 2005 CRF230 and raced a KX100 years ago. If you will be riding trails mainly or just goofing off around the house, the CRF is by far the better bike. The CRF however does not do well on a motocross track, it doesn't like to jump very well. The KX is great on a motocross track, obviously, but really sucks as a trail bike. So just buy whichever fits the type of riding you will do.

  2. Go for the crf, but try get a 250 or a 150, like the other person mentioned they r hard 2 get parts for!

Ovarall its YOUR choice i would go for the CRF230, this is a big for stroke at 13yrs of age it will last you a long time you wont grow out of it, also, at 13 you mite not want to be rebuidin the engine so soon so go for the 230, less maintenece more power

    Gd luck

  3. The Crf 230 is a good solid bike.

  4. those off cc bikes are hard to get parts for. I would either go for the 125cc or a 250cc . I would recommend a crf250r or 125 or rm 250r/ 125. These bikes have the lowest amount of maintance out of the five main dirtbike providers

  5. I would say the crf230f cuz its a Honda and they last long and can find parts easy and people in Bajja used Honda Dirt Bikes
