What should i get a: African land snail Or A guinea pig?? 10 points?

Hi,what should i get: A breeding pair of African Land Snails

Or a silver & white rex Guinea pig? Because i have bred & might start breeding guinea pigs again hence getting a pretty female piggie,But i have never kept giant snails before,so i not sure iam a torn between them!

And before you go "ewww,snails,yuck! Get a guinea pig!"

I like both,species so i will definitely NOT go for answers that mock me for want snails!

So what do you think a slimy snail or a fluffy guinea pig?

Oh & i you can give some info on land snails that would be fab!

Please don't give on guinea pigs as i keep these & have previously bred them.

This isn't cos i personally don't like snails  (we all have different tastes) but i think u shud go 4 guinea-pigs. If you decided 2 breed them u wud get alot more interest off people to buy a guinea pig than a snail lol. However its your choice u no wot u like best.

ps if u stil cant decide...hav them both lol

I really would go for guinea pigs. I had a friend who has african land snails and she found them pretty boring and couldn't bond with them at all.

i personally don't like either. but it seems that guinea pigs can do more stuff. you can't cuddle a land snail!

guinea pig is a better option. they can give you a lot of stuff in return and are one of the excallent listeners...snails can be kept as pets but the only problem with them is that they wont react to your mood, or the expression that you would show to them....

Simple test :

Bow down on your knees and say Hi cutie pie to your pig

and then try the same thing with your snail ....take the one that responds....

If you've never had the snails before it would be fun and interesting to get them for a change. You know what it's like to have guinea pigs so I would want to have something different and unusual. I've had frogs and turtles that I enjoyed very much and a lot of people wonder why I had them but to me they were cute and fun. Good luck with what you choose to have.
