I've played both. DEFINITELY get the XBOX 360. It's way better than a Wii, graphics-wise and gameplay. Get Halo 3 and Xbox Live with it and you'll be set for life. If you don't like Halo 3, get CALL OF DUTY 4. That's the next best game.

I would agree with the other comment,

the xbox 360 is a very very solid console, with a fantastic game library (biggest among nex-gen consoles) and amazing online play.

Xbox live is probably the most fun you'll have in a long long time haha.

Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 are great games, even better played online.

I would say xbox 360 hands down mate, honestly.

You should get them both for Xbox 360. For Guitar Hero Aerosmith the game play is pretty much the same on both Xbox 360 and Wii but sometimes it is hard to see on the fret boards in the Wii version, basically the Xbox 360 version looks better. As for Rock Band it is much better on Xbox 360 because there is character customization, the interactive Band World Tour, hundreds of downloadable songs, and online play, and plus, it looks better on the Xbox 360. But personally I think you shouldn't get an Xbox 360 you should get a PS3 instead.
